Agreement
These Terms of Use govern version 1.1 of the KeepSpace iOS and Android apps. By using KeepSpace, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
KeepSpace analyzes media on your device and presents storage estimates, cleanup suggestions, best-shot recommendations, memory groups, receipt details, and optional video compression. These results are automated estimates and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
Cloud Backup is an optional, user-initiated transfer from your device to a Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive account you connect. KeepSpace does not guarantee provider availability, upload completion, retention, or recovery. Confirm the in-app “Backed up” state and, for important files, verify them in the provider before relying on a cloud copy. Version 1.1 does not delete local originals after upload.
KeepSpace asks the operating system to move confirmed items to Recently Deleted or Trash, but recovery periods and availability are controlled by iOS or Android and may vary.
Your responsibilities
You may use KeepSpace only with media and devices you are authorized to access. You are responsible for:
- reviewing cleanup and compression results before acting;
- maintaining and independently verifying any backups you require;
- protecting access to your device; and
- following applicable laws and third-party rights.
Do not attempt to misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer where prohibited by law, or use the app to violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights.
No professional advice or guaranteed recovery
Storage forecasts, receipt extraction, classifications, and recommendations are informational tools, not financial, accounting, archival, or other professional advice. We do not guarantee a particular amount of recovered space, perfect classification, lossless compression, or successful recovery of deleted files.
Availability and changes
We may correct defects, change features, or discontinue support. Some features depend on operating-system permissions, hardware, free storage, network access, and Google or Microsoft services outside our control. Your use of a connected provider is also governed by that provider’s terms.
Disclaimer and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KeepSpace is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of media, data, profits, or use arising from the app.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction.
Apple-specific terms
For the iOS app, these terms are between you and the KeepSpace developer, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for KeepSpace. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you where applicable.
